This is a roughly 2.5” diameter (60 mm) uranium glass sphere which can be illuminated in two different ways. The switch at the base can be flipped from off to “always on” or “detector pulsing.” There is a radiation sensor in the base which causes the orb to pulse periodically when background radiation interacts with the sensor, or if radiation levels are elevated then the orb will flash more rapidly, gradually approaching a continuous illuminated green, which indicates a very high abnormal level of radiation. There is also a small knob to adjust brightness. Power comes from a USB-C cable which plugs into the base.
A test source which makes the orb flash more rapidly than ordinary background radiation can be added separately, see complete product list to add that.
Currently accepting PRE-ORDERS which are planned to be shipped by approximately end of October (or earlier if possible).
